Welcome to Clipper Nation, Emily!
The SPSCC Clipper Volleyball Team is very excited to announce another addition to the team, Emily Snider. Snider a 5’6 setter from Westport, Washington who attended Ocosta High School comes ready with great leadership qualities on and off the volleyball court.
Snider a four year Varsity starter who also held the role as a captain her junior and senior years. Snider not only brings great knowledge for the game but has left a legacy at Ocosta High School by setting Ocosta’s all-time assists in a season record as a junior and improved on that record as a senior. To end her senior season, she walked away with the 2019 Co-MVP of the Pacific League and 2019 Co-MVP for Ocosta High School volleyball program. Outside of volleyball, Snider participates in the girls basketball and is a member of the National Honor Society. Snider states “I am looking forward to playing with the SPSCC Clippers and continuing my love for the sport that I have always wanted to play at a higher level. I have been playing volleyball ever since I can remember, and I can't imagine anything else I would want to be doing. I am excited to be on the campus and get my education there, while getting to meet new friends and begin my life."
Coach Tusalava is very excited to work with Snider the next two years. She states, “Emily is a player that loves the game, she’s like a sponge and just soaks up all the information she needs and trains hard in order to be successful in this game. I can’t wait to work with her this season and watch her excel in this sport!” Snider signed her letter of commitment on Friday, March 13th at home in Westport, WA with her family.
