Clippers Sign Vasalilo Langi
The Clipper volleyball program has signed another incoming freshman to its 2020 class. Vasalilo Langi, a 5‘7 Outside Hitter who just completed her high school career at East High School located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Langi signed her NWAC Letter of Intent with her family by her side on Saturday, April 18th.
Langi has been competing in volleyball since she was 8-years old. She was a starter and captain her senior year and ended her high school volleyball career with the 2019 Varsity MVP Award, 2019 Offensive Player of the Year Award and 2019 Snow Tournament MVP. Langi states “ I am excited to play with my new Clipper teammates and learn and excel at South Puget Sound Community College”.
“The Coaching staff and I are so excited to welcome Langi to the Clipper family,” said Head Coach Tusalava Kuaea. “She is an experienced player with high volleyball IQ and energy on and off the court. We are expecting her to come in and compete for playing time in the outside position from day one. I am excited to see her excel in the NWAC and at SPSCC.”
