OLYMPIA, Wash. - The women's soccer program added to their list of "firsts" during their inaugural season with a three-nil victory over the Grays Harbor College Chokers. Freshmen Karma Valentine and Samantha Calderon-Rodriguez connected for the match's opening goal in the eighteenth minute. Calderon-Rodriguez would score an unassisted goal in the final minute of the first half to give the Clippers a two-goal advantage heading into the break. Karma Valentine would find the back of the net for a second time with a goal in the opening minute of the second half. In addition to the goal-scoring, Coach Mader's team played tough defense and controlled the ball to cruise to the 3-0 victory.
