Alex Canning Selected as NWAC Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week!

SPSCC Athletics is proud to announce that Clipper Men's Soccer Sophomore Striker Alex Canning has been selected as the for Sept. 22-28!

AC had a heck of a week as he scored three goals, the insurance goal in the team's 3-1 win against Pierce and both goals in the draw against Tacoma!

He has collected nine goals and four assists through the season and has become the program's all-time leading goal scorer with 18 for his career and counting.

"In terms of game intelligence, AC is as bright as any I've coached," said Clipper Men's Soccer Head Coach Max Sampson. "He gets attention as our main goal threat, but what he beings as a leader has been instrumental for us. Good player, good student, good person all around."
