Game 1- SPSCC 70, Peninsula 60
The No. 8-ranked Clippers opened the NWAC Crossover hosted by Lane Community College with a 70–60 win over Peninsula. SPSCC's balanced scoring was on display, led by Caleb Bowden, who scored 16 points and added 5 rebounds. Jamaal Elliott chipped in 14 points and 6 assists, while David Boschdemont Esteban pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds. The Clippers forced Peninsula into 13 turnovers and converted those opportunities into 17 points off turnovers, helping sustain their lead throughout the second half. SPSCC's defense also held Peninsula to 11.1% shooting from three and outrebounded the Pirates 41-35.
Game 2- SPSCC 82, Blue Mountain 90
The second day of the Crossover saw the Clippers face a resurgent Blue Mountain Timberwolves squad coming off a night one defeat of the host Lane Community College. The Wolves jumped out to an early lead behind standout play from Dionte Hill, who scored a team-high 18 points in the first half. SPSCC struggled with turnovers in the first half and finished the opening period with seven. Despite the turnovers, Jamaal Elliott and David Boschdemont Esteban kept the Clippers within striking distance, combining for 21 first-half points.
Coming out of halftime, the Clippers struck first when Jack Mack converted a steal into a quick layup, cutting into the Wolves' lead. The two teams continued to trade baskets back and forth, with Nakalayah Fabello knocking down a three-point shot with 16:07 remaining in the second half to give the Clippers a one-point lead. The Clippers relinquished the lead with 10 minutes remaining and fell to the Wolves 90-82.
Game 3- SPSCC 73, Lane 59
SPSCC opened the third game of the weekend with a 10-0 run in the first four minutes. Freshmen Jack Mack and Nakalayah Fabello combined for eight of the ten points and continued to score efficiently throughout the opening 20 minutes, going 8-13 for 20 points. Despite the early advantage, Lane battled back to cut the Clippers' lead to five points going into halftime.
The second half opened with SPSCC connecting on their first three field goal attempts and extending the lead. Jamaal Elliott, who battled first-half foul trouble, came alive in the second half and added six points, three rebounds, and four assists. With Elliott at the point, the Clippers' offense ran more efficiently with only five turnovers and shooting 53.8% from the field. David Boschdemont Esteban helped seal the victory for the Clippers with multiple drives to the basket late in the second half. Boschdemont Esteban finished with a game-high 15 rebounds to go along with his 13 points.
The victory capped a long weekend for the Clippers, who played their last 11 games of the preseason on the road, going 8-3.
