No. 5 Clippers Extend Winning Streak with Convincing Win Over Everett
Behind a smothering defensive effort and another balanced team performance, the No. 5 SPSCC Clippers powered past Everett 77–55 on Saturday afternoon to close out a strong opening weekend at home.
November 15, 2025 — Olympia, WA
The No. 5 ranked South Puget Sound Clippers capped opening weekend with another commanding performance, defeating the Everett Trojans 77–55 on Saturday afternoon inside the Olympia Orthopedics Associates Gymnasium. Just one day after a strong showing against No. 10 Bellevue, the Clippers again delivered a complete performance, showcasing both their smothering defense and efficient offense.
SPSCC asserted control early, using aggressive on-ball defense along with great effort on the defensive glass to limit Everett's offensive efficiency. Despite being undersized in most rebounding situations, point guard Jamaal Elliott led the Clippers in rebounding with 7 in just 24 minutes of action. Another key to the victory was the Clippers' depth, which saw all ten healthy players see at least 12 minutes of playing time. The distribution of minutes allowed SPSCC to maintain its energetic effort defensively, which eventually led to the Trojans' demise.
Looking Ahead
The Clippers now shift focus to their first road trip of the season as they travel to Tacoma for the Titan Classic, hosted by Tacoma Community College.
SPSCC will play two games during the event:
Friday, November 21 vs. Shoreline Community College — 2:00 PM
Saturday, November 22 vs. Olympic College — 12:00 PM
