Jayde Grams receives SPSCC's 2021 Outstanding Student Award Recipients
Jayde Grams was selected for her outstanding achievements and contributions to SPSCC in the areas of academics, performance, and service to the college or the community, as well as her overall personal growth and development throughout their time at SPSCC.
The three words she would use to describe herself are "determined, kind, and compassionate." During her time at SPSCC, she helped with prospective student outreach and SPSCC Foundation events and has been dedicated to the wider Olympia community through the Olympia Special Olympics and Relay for Life. Jayde plans to transfer to a university where she would like to continue playing volleyball and to further her education with a degree in accounting or teaching.
Coach Kuaea on the recognition, "From Jayde's freshman year to now, she has set the bar to what a successful student-athlete should strive for academically and athletically. I've had the pleasure to watch Jayde grow in all areas while attending SPSCC and I couldn't be more proud of her. As she returns for her last season this upcoming Fall, I look forward to watching her dominate on the volleyball court as a captain as well as mentoring the underclass."
Jayde was recognized during the June 18th virtual commencement ceremony and is also featured on the graduation 2021 website.
